"Announcement: The Free State Project" by Jason Sorens. The article in The Libertarian Enterprise that started it all!
(Note from the author: This essay was the first exploration of the idea of a 'free state strategy.' Needless to say, the present-day Free State Project differs in some respects from this article's proposals. In particular, the article over-emphasizes secession. Nevertheless, it is of historical interest.)
